Dear Theta Sisters,

The holiday season is a joyful time for many, but for children and teens in foster care, it can also be a difficult reminder of uncertainty and loss. Every year, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) conducts a holiday gift card drive to help ensure the children they serve experience the joy of the season.

So why are we asking for your support in July?

The holiday season is one of the busiest times of the year for everyone—including CASA. By launching our Christmas in July campaign, we hope to give CASA a head start on the tremendous work involved in providing holiday gifts for approximately 1,800 children and teens. Beginning now allows them to better plan, organize, and ensure every child receives something meaningful.

CASA is our national philanthropy, and we know the incredible generosity of our sisterhood. Every dollar donated will be used to purchase gift cards for children and teens served by Dallas CASA's holiday drive. Gift cards are especially meaningful for teens, allowing them to choose something for themselves that they truly want or need, providing a sense of independence, dignity, and normalcy during the holidays.

We hope you'll join us in making a donation—no amount is too small. Our goal is to provide gift cards for at least 250 of the 1,800 children Dallas CASA expects to serve this holiday season.
